In the past week there have been numerous celebrity marriages, and nearly an equal amount of celebrity splits. In a world in which the divorce rate is higher than the crime rate in Camden, NJ (the most dangerous place to live in America, according to marganquitno.com) the 5-year union between Aguilera and her husband lasted for practically an eternity. But now, in the words of Francesco Sartori, it is “time to say goodbye”.

So, why is the couple separating? According to the paperwork for the case, they are divorcing because of ‘irreconcilable differences”. But, wait, there’s a twist. TMZ.com reports that insiders have let the monkey out of the bottle, and it was actually the ‘Burlesque’ actress who did the cheating!
Aguilera’s attorney, Laura Wasser, is reportedly petitioning for Bratman to receive no spousal support.
The former couple has one 2-year-old child together, Max, whom the pop diva is seeking joint custody for.
A few days ago an insider divulged to Popeater.com:
“They were very much in love, but over the last six months, it ¬became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife”
