First, there was the initial promo teaser photo … then the official album artwork … then the Xmas message directly from Mimi herself … then the first listen of the first single, Oh Santa! … today, we get to see the final tracklisting for Mariah Carey‘s upcoming new Xmas album titled Merry Christmas II You. MC broke the news first on her official Twitter profile and then on her official website:

The album will feature 13 tracks including a duet with her mother Patricia Carey on the Xmas mash-up/medley O Come All Ye Faithful / Hallelujah Chorus. As you already know, the lead single off the album is Oh Santa! and this week, one of the choreographers for the music video shared a photo from the video shoot. Oh Santa! will be available for download purchase on Tuesday October 12 and the full Merry Christmas II You album will be available on November 2. Ugh … as much as I really DON’T want to think about Xmas already, I am kinda sorta looking forward to this album. Mimi can sang herself a damn fine Xmas song … I can’t wait to hear these new tunes.
